My Golden retriever gets thirsty quickly due to her thyroid issue and would then get sick. My friend recommended this, and it did the trick. She’s still able to get enough water but at a slower pace. The wide platform prevents the usual messy drips around the container. You can easily fill the bowl by simply pouring water slowly through the center hole (it’s a bit tricky to get the top lid off).
